In the series finale, she is taken into Morioka's family after the death of her guardian, Vargus. She is In the manga, she has been forcefully rejected by her father and taken into the care of Kouhei's father to act as a "replacement" in Hazuki's absence.

Personality[]

Compared to Hazuki, Artemis is much more calm, quiet, and overall well-mannered. She usually portrays a stoic yet still playful and childlike demeanor. While at times she seems just as malicious as any regular vampire, she's ultimately a lonely little girl who just wants to be loved. Arte initially wanted to make Kouhei her own slave or simply kill him just to spite Hazuki. During their first meeting, Kouhei was nice to her and gave her some ninja food when she was hungry despite it tasting horrible. After Jeda is defeated and Arte is taken into Kouhei's house he manages to reach out to her during a discussion late at night and convinces her to open up to a new life with caring friends and family.

Hikaru Midou[]

Hazuki[]

Hazuki is Arte's older half-sister. Their relationship begins later on in the series, very rocky at first because of Arte enviously trying to take Kouhei away from her or kill them both. But after Arte is taken into the household after the death of her guardian Vargas, Hazuki's relationship with her sister starts to change. After a while, Arte begins acting out in ways to make Hazuki mad in order to gain attention (including comically torturing Haji). However, after realizing the reasons behind Arte’s actions, Hazuki reconciles with her sister thus cementing their sisterly bond and their relationship progresses to the point of complete trust and love.
